Activision Announced Plans For Call of Duty Warzone Mobile

Game publisher Activision tweeted yesterday that they were making a mobile version of the popular stand-alone Call of Duty game Warzone. Kaya maghanda na ang mga mobile FPS gamers diyan, dahil worth ang wait dito sa larong to!

In the tweet, Activision said that they’re looking for a dev team para gumawa ng “AAA mobile experience” for years to come.

Here’s the tweet:

Activision is looking to build a team for the upcoming mobile version of Call of Duty Warzone

Wala pang expected release date, pero pwedeng i-base sa timeframe for developing the first COD Mobile. The first release took two-and-a-half years. This means that if all the slots are filled early, we will expect the game to be published some time in early 2025.

However, meron na silang model (the COD Mobile), so we can be more positive with the timeframe – baka available na sya in 2024, but who knows? Quality games take time to make.

COD Mobile did really well in porting game mechanics to a mobile version, so we might see the same game modes in Warzone mobile from its PC counterpart.

In COD Mobile, we got to see 5 game modes. The COD Warzone currently has 2 game modes: Battle Royale and Plunder.

The rewards system and progress in Warzone carries over retroactively (carried over ang progress sa Warzone to the main COD Game) so it’s also not far-off if Activision decides to make COD Warzone mobile as a DLC type to add into the existing COD Mobile platform.

The COD Mobile is a highly-successful F2P game which generated over $87 million in revenue, according to mobile analytics and app store optimization company Sensor Tower.
