Comelec will push laws to regulate social media combat trolls

The Commission on Elections decided to enforce the laws that will regulate social media trolls and to lessen toxicity towards Facebook platforms.

Inquirer.net the Comelec Commissioner George Garcia said that the Comelec has no power to monitor the social media because of the absence of law pag dating sa social medias. Isa yun sa dahilan kaya gusto na gawin batas eto.

By implementing this law it will make the social media platforms less toxic because people will hesitate on becoming a troll, sobrang laking factor ng trolls lalo nung recent elections, with this law being implemented this can help everyone para maging less toxic.
