There’s not much competition going on in the tablet category – there’s Apple’s iPads, Samsung’s Galaxy Tabs, and a few other brands that have established themselves in the market. But even then, these brands still carry a heavy price tag.
That’s where Teclast tablets come in. We’ve reviewed a Teclast device before, and this brand has nothing to offer except great specs for a budget price. The Teclast T40 Pro was one of their best releases, and the brand is making a better one for the people who love tablets but don’t have the money to spend.
The Teclast M40 Air display is huge – at 10.1 inches, it’s less bigger than the T40 Pro. However, if there’s an upgrade to be noticed, it’s the processor and the storage capabilities. The Teclast T40 used a Unisoc T618, while the Teclast M40 Air uses a more energy efficient Helio P60 chipset.
The device will also have a 1TB storage expandability, in contrast to the Teclast T40’s measly 256GB cap. So if you want a lightweight companion with a full set of capable features, the Teclast M40 Air is a good tablet choice.
Specs-wise, there’s not much to discuss about the tablet. It features a lightweight 6000mAh battery which should be enough to handle day-to-day tasks. It might look like an odd-choice, seeing the Teclast T40 Pro has 7000mAh of battery and a slightly faster processor. But the Teclast M40 Air is all about portability, and the brand just delivered it right.
There’s no pricing available yet for the Philippines, so stay tuned for more.
