Wiko Is Coming to the Philippines Soon

Wiko Mobile is the newest and latest brand to enter the smartphone arena. The brand is officially coming to the Philippines next month, June 2, 2022.

The company is an offshoot of its parent company Tinno Mobile in China. Wiko Mobile has sold over 2.3 million units of smartphones with dual-sim functionality in 2013. Wiko Mobile’s progress is limited, except in France, where it sold an additional 1.7 million smartphones, making it the second most popular phone brand after Samsung.

Wiko Mobile started in France, spearheaded by bestfriends James Lin, CEO of Tinno Mobile, and Laurent Dahan, a French visionary entrepreneur. According to the introduction in their website, the company has one goal: “MAKE SMARTPHONE TECHNOLOGY ACCESSIBLE TO ALL”

Wiko

The brand is present in 30 countries over Europe, Asia, South Africa, and the Middle East. They provide more than smartphones – they also make accessories such as wired and wireless earbuds, screen protectors, chargers, in-car chargers, and even reserve batteries in the form of power banks.

Wiko Mobile has its own series of devices like the T Range, Power U Range, View Range, and the Y Range.

Even though the brand is not yet widely known in the PH, the company has already set up a PH website for visitors to check. The current product promoted is the Wiko T3, a smartphone with a big 6.6” screen, a 128GB storage, and a triple camera setup.
